The Technology Innovation for Commercialization (TECHNICOM) Program, a flagship program of the Department of Science and Technology thru the Technology Application and Promotion Institute (TAPI), aims to bring innovations with great potential to its intended market through financial grant and technical assistance. To extend this opportunity to eligible proponents, the TECHNICOM Program Unit is currently disseminating the official call for proposals for CY 2019 funding opportunity.
Thru TECHNICOM Program, the potential project will have access to other technology transfer and commercialization programs of TAPI including the Intellectual Property Assistance Program that provides support for drafting and filing of IPRs and the Venture Financing Assistance Program that provides seed-funding for local enterprises. Ultimately, the goal of the TECHNICOM Program is to establish a way for Agencies to create income-generating projects which will benefit the institutions, innovators and the country.
