The DOST-PCHRD arranged a Capacity Building Committee Business Meeting and Networking Cocktail Dinner last August 6, 2018, 5:00-9:00 PM at the Forest Lodge, Camp John Hay, Baguio City. The gathering aimed to formalize the creation of the PNHRS Expanded Capacity Building Committee and to validate the next steps identified during the regional consultation meetings.It is also a venue to strengthen the partnership among the PNHRS Capacity Building Committee Core Agency Representatives, Regional Health Research and Development Consortia (RHRDC) CBC Chairs and RHRDC Coordinators/ Support Staff. 

The said meeting was presided by Dr. Vicente Belizario, Jr., chair of the PNHRS CBC and was attended by CBC chairs from the 17 Regional Consortia and project staffs of each consortia. the agenda of the said meeting were: 1) Presentation of the PNHRS CBC Accomplishment Report; 2) Updates on the PNHRS CBC initiatives and 3) Forum on collaborative research on HIV/AIDS.
